I was at a party at my friend’s local farm

I wandered through a field, and much to my alarm

An alien was sleeping, his spaceship parked nearby

As I woke him up, he whimpered and he cried

He told me of his plight, though his words were more like thoughts

He was traveling with his wife. I guess his name was Scott

Their world was harsh and dark, no colors and no light

But now they are on earth, where everything’s so bright

His wife saw the colors, the flowers filled with bees

She danced through the field, her hair flowing with the breeze

The next thing he knew, his wife ran toward the farm

The colors and the smells had cast a magic charm

We searched high and low for the wife who’d run away

It shouldn’t be too hard find an alien gone astray

He described her as a beauty, pink skin and pink hair

He loved her very much. I guess her name was Claire
