The Collapsing Mountain
by The LEGO Poptart Horses
Adrianne Potter, Josiah Mullins, Lindsay Stallard, and Kaleb Bryant
A long time ago, the Appalachian Mountains had mountain ranges that were sometimes very colorful. One of those mountains was called PoptarteetO. At the bottom of PoptarteetO lived the townspeople of Horsetown, but hidden among those common townspeople were the amazing Poptart Horse Heroes. There lived 100 people in the town and the Poptart Horse Heroes secretly kept them safe. There was a treasure chest at the top of PoptarteetO and no one knew it was there but the Poptart Horse Heroes, and they kept heroes there to guard the treasure.

The Poptart Horse Heroes had 4 members who secretly met in the Poptart Cave. The members were Jay, Max, Fleecee, and Kaleb. Jay was the first member. He was disguised as a teacher in Horsetown, but his superpower was super-speed.

Jay’s horse helped him get from place to place because his horse could teleport. His horse’s name was Bubblegum. Kaleb was the second member of the group. He was disguised as a police officer. He directed traffic in Horsetown. Sometimes he liked to be lazy. The Police Station helped Kaleb be a superhero because when Kaleb entered the police station and sat in his favorite lounge chair he could make the station fly.
Fleecee , the third member, is a true spy. The townspeople know she is a spy. She spies on others to catch villains to help Horsetown stay safe. She can hypnotize her victims and get any information she needs. Max is the fourth member of the Poptart Horse Heroes. He was an explorer. He found the mountain PoptarteetO. Max and Jay worked together to guard the mountain.

A train track ran through Horsetown. The train was used as transportation to get the townspeople from place to place. One day, the train had a terrible wreck. Some of the townspeople were hurt, but know one died. When the train wrecked it caused the mountain to shake. When it did, the mountain of PoptarteetO began to collapse. Jay and Max were guarding the mountain. Jay yelled to Max, “We need to call the others to let them know the mountain is collapsing!” The Poptart Horse Heroes had a job to do. Once all the heroes were together in the Poptart Cave, they made a plan to stop the mountain from collapsing and hurting the townspeople.

Fleecee said, “Don’t worry I will hop on my ship and push from one side.”
So, she hopped in her ship and did just that. Without a word, Jay sprang into action with his super fast speed he ran to the mountain to push back the rocks. Kaleb flew in his police station to the mountain and Max, with his flying powers, flew to the mountain. Together they put the mountain of PoptarteetO back together. In the meantime, while the Poptart Horse Heroes were putting the mountain together a bear came through the town and chased a puppy. The puppy was chased up the collapsed mountain and the bear had it trapped in the treasure chest that was opened when the mountain began to collapse. Fleecee flew to the rescue in the Poptart Horse Heroes flying ship. She got the puppy and he was safe.

“There was one more job to do,” Fleecee said.
They had to fix the rocks under the mountain. When they had built up the base of the mountain, Together they yelled, “ Yay, The Mountain of PoptarteetO is safe once again!”

The Presley family had four daughters, Abby who has red hair, blue eyes and freckles and is very nice. She is seventeen years old. She has lots of friends. Bella is shy and homeschooled she has orange-reddish hair and light brown eyes. She is ten years old. Mia is shy. She likes to read. She has pretty pink glasses and she is very kind. Ally is eighteen years old, she is the oldest girl. She has red hair and freckles and loves the color blue.
Their mother whose name is Megan has red hair, freckles and her eyes are light brown like her daughters. She is nice and works around the house. She cans green beans, apples, corn, cornbread, draws water from the well for baths and heats it on the wood stove for baths in the washtub. Their father is a great fisherman and his name is John.

The family loves living in the Appalachian mountains of Norton, Virginia because they can go fishing. Abby says, “Y’all, let’s get our stuff to go fishing.”
Bella says, “ I’ll help get it together.”
Mia says, “ I will dig with Ally, but I need gloves because I will get dirt all over my pretty skirt.”
Ally says, “I don’t need any gloves.”
Mom says, “Y’all get the food. We can eat tomato sandwiches with my homemade bread.” Girls, go get some carrots from my garden and pick some apples from the trees.”
The girls began to complain and told their mother no, but Dad looked at the girls disapprovingly and said, “Do what your mother says!” The girls obeyed.

After, all their supplies for the fishing trip was gathered up. The family began the walk to the lake. They were all fishing when they suddenly heard strange sounds and saw the cutest little bear cub.
Suddenly, they heard loud sniffing and growling. Then a big mama bear showed up and tried to attack their Dad. Dad had the fishing rod and hits the bear and the mama bear and her cub turn around and head for home. The girls all start crying while their mother and father try to comfort them.

Finally, they decide to stay and keep fishing. They ate fish outside. They decided that it was the best annual fishing trip they had ever had, except maybe not the bear.
