Part 1
Splish Splash
“Splish Splash time! Splish Splash time!,”
I exclaimed as I ran through the house. My name is Daniella Raymond, and I’m 10 years old.
It’s six o’clock in the morning, and I can't wait to go. My sister Ella Raymond, she’s 17, was also ready to go since it’s her favorite waterpark too.
Our parents had asked Ella to take me because they aren't morning or water people.
We got in the car for our thirty minute drive to the waterpark. We were both super excited and couldn't wait to get there.
Thirty minutes later we arrived at Splish Splash. When we pulled into the parking lot, it was closed.
We got out of the car and peered through the gates. We saw a mysterious guy. All the Splish Splash workers were under his command.
“Ella, can we go home please?” I asked softly crying.
“Yes Daniella, we can go home now,” Ella said. I knew she could tell I was super sad because the waterpark was closed. She also seemed really sad about the waterpark being closed.
We went home. Right after we got home, I decided to look up Splish Splash on the internet. I saw nothing that said it was closed.
I thought it was really weird that there was nothing that said Splish Splash was closed.
Part 2
Lance’s Evil Attraction
Ella speaking
I decided to go back to Splish Splash to see if I could tell what was going on.
Thirty minutes later when I arrived at Splish Splash, I saw a sign that said Lance’s EVIL Attraction. I took a picture of the sign. I checked to see if I could find anything on Lance’s EVIL Attraction. I didn’t see anything, but one comment that was written by Worker#1. I thought it was one of the workers from Splish Splash because the workers wear jerseys with numbers on the back of them.
The comment said, “Come to Lance’s Evil House. Located in the middle of Splish Splash waterpark, it is full of evil spooks and scares that will lead you to Lance, the evil house owner.”
I decided to go home and show Daniella all the information that I found at the Waterpark and online.
Back to me, Daniella
Thirty minutes later when Ella got home, I had finished covering the backyard with slip n slides, and the slide that is attached to our playset had a hose with water running down it. Since our family has an inground pool, and since we live in a really hot place, we have big fans that I used to make waves, so I could make the pool a wave pool.
There were also beach chairs set up around the backyard. Then Ella saw me in my pink and purple bathing suit, as I was getting in the wave pool. She called me over and told me to go to her room with her. There was something she needed to tell me. I said, "ok." I had no idea what she was about to tell me, but I needed to tell her what I had found online.
I headed up to Ella’s room, and she was already there waiting for me. She showed me the comment and the photo of the sign that said Lance’s Evil Attraction. I told her that I had also looked online and didn't see any information about the waterpark being closed.
