Kenzie and Eliza are twins. They do everything together.

Kenzie always washes her hands with soap and water when they come in from outside, before and after meals, and after using the restroom.
Eliza splashes water on her hands, when she remembers.
Kenzie brushes her teeth in the morning when she wakes up and before she goes to sleep. Eliza sometimes remembers to brush her teeth before she goes to bed.
Kenzie takes a bath or a shower a few days a week, she makes sure she combs out her hair and makes sure she is clean. Eliza would rather play with her toys than take a bath!

Eliza always wonders why she gets sick more often than her sister Kenzie. She also doesn't understand why she has cavities and needs to go to the dentist more than her twin.

How can Eliza stay healthy like her twin sister Kenzie?

Remembering to wash her hands with soap and water before and after eating, after playing outside, and using the restroom.
Brushing her teeth in the morning and before bed.
Taking baths a few times per week.

"Wet hands with clean, warm water.
Soap up, rubbing the hands together to make a lather. The lather should go all over the hands and in between the fingers.
Continue rubbing for about 20 seconds. To help younger children count the time, you can ask them to sing “Happy Birthday” to you two times.
Rinse with warm, running water.
Dry hands on a clean towel." (AAD, 2018)

Eliza wonders if there is anything else she could be doing to help her and her family be healthier. Who could she ask?

My sister and I have our wellness visit today.

Our doctor can teach us ways to be healthier!
Great idea!

The doctors office can be scary. But there is always something fun to do while we wait!
