The purpose of a Pediatric Nurse is to perform physical exams, diagnose illness and injury, and provide education and support to patients' families. Generally, to take care of children and provide assistance to the doctor. This career choice is part of Health Sciences.

In order to become a Pediatric Nurse, four to six years of college is inquired. There are specific certifications for this career like a masters degree or bachelors. These depend on the salary and how many years of education. For a Pediatric nurse, the level of education does not really matter.

For the salary, this career has a stable beginning. It offers up to twenty to thirty dollars a week. Then it can go up to fifty-five to eighty-eight thousand dollars a year. This can depend on the degree that an individual got, or on how long the person worked for the company.

There is an opportunity to advance in this career by being head nurse or maybe becoming a pediatrician. For me personally, I would take some time before advancing to the next level. I would like to pursue the career and be a professional before moving on.
