Millie and Henry were best friends.

They loved to play outside. 

Millie just got a new pink ball. She invited Henry over to play with her and her new pink ball.

Millie made a game of pawing at her ball

back and forth, running thru the grass into

the flowers around the trees .

Flipping it behind her the pollen made

Millie Sneeze.

Millie and Henry were having so much fun pawing the ball back and forth.

 Henry pawed the ball to Millie but Millie stopped to look at the big bee and the ball rolled right past her.

"Millie!" shouted Henry as Millie looked up, "The ball is rolling down the hill!" "Oh no!" cried Millie as she ran to chase her ball down the hill.

  Millie chased the ball into the marsh.

She had stopped as she greeted Mr.Turtle 

"Hello, Mr.Turtle how do you do? 

Mr.Turtle replied "I do just fine Millie how are you? in a hurray  I see" Millie replied with panic in her voice.''Yes  I have lost my pink ball. Have you seen it roll by?"

Mr. Turtled replied "Yes it has rolled down past me past the marsh into the forest" Mille dashed off for the forest.

"Thankyou Mr. Turtle."Millie replied.

 "Thank you Mr. Turtle" Mille replied as she ran into the marsh to find Freddy the frog sitting near the water's edge.

"Hello Millie, nice to see you, are you looking for a pink ball?" asked  Freddy the Frog. "Yes! Which way did it go?" Freddy pointed down to the  forest.

"Hello Mr. Racoon, have you seen my pink ball"? 

Mr. Racoon just pointed down to the tall trees and did not say a word. Becoming more and more excited she dashed in the direction he had pointed, eager to find her new ball.

Millie ran out of the tall trees to the beautiful meadow. She stopped as she saw Paula the Porcupine sitting in a bush nearby.

"Hello Paula, have you seen a pink ball come out of the marsh and through the tall trees"? asked Millie.
