Twinkle, twinkle little star

how I wonder what you are.....

His hands were strong

and words were kind.

His love was deep

and so was mine.

His brow was sweaty and boots were muddy.

He made silly faces

and was really funny.

He lived in a house

he made home.

Everyone was welcome, there was always a seat.

He loved to cook

and made plenty to eat.

Stories were told,

memories were made,

and always left with a smiling cheek.

The house is now empty

and sits all alone.
