One Day a little girl called Molly was walking along 

the footpath with her teddy bear Ted.

 Ted was brown and very fluffy. He loved to   take 

walks with Molly. He loved to eat with Molly. He loved 

to play on the swing with Molly. But best of all, he 

loved to sleep with Molly.

Molly continued to walk with Ted, her mother and 

her little brother John. They stopped at the park and 

played on the swings and slid down the slide. 

After an hour's play at the park, Molly, Ted, John and 

mum walked back home to eat lunch.

On the way home, they stopped at the bakery for 

some bread. Molly's mum went up to the counter 

while John and Molly sat on a bench while they 

waited.

"Come on kids. I have bought some bread. Let's 

go home" said mum.

Molly and John got up from where they were 

sitting and walked home with their mum.

But there's just one thing Molly forgot to take 

home. That was Ted.

"Mum have you seen Ted?" asked Molly.

"No I haven't Molly".

"Where did you last see him darling?" asked 

Molly's mum.

"I don't know" Molly replied.

"Don't worry Molly. You'll have to find him 

somewhere" her mother added.

Molly looked all around the house for Ted. She 

didn't eat lunch when her mother asked. She 

missed her swimming lessons because she was 

looking for Ted. She forgot to have a shower.

"I don't think Ted is in the house Molly" her 

mother said.

"We will look tomorrow".

Soon enough the night had gone by and it was 

morning again. Molly was woken up by the sun 

and was ready to search for her teddy. 

Her mother had promised her that they would 

go back to the park to look today and she was 

very excited.

"Mum it's morning. We have to search for Ted" 

Molly whispered in her ear.

"Yes sweetheart. But first let's eat some 

breakfast".

Firstly, Molly changed into some clothes. So did John 

and their mum.

Then they ate some breakfast. 

After that, they set off for the park in the family car.

"First stop, the park" mum said.

Molly and John laughed.

"Mum, this is not a mission" Molly reminded her.

"Oh, I thought it was" she said.
