It was Halloween once again in Oaktown, and it was especially exciting for Michael. This would be the first year his parents allowed him to go trick or treating with his friends!

Michael and his friends thought long and hard about what they would dress up as this year. “I got it!” his friend Andrew exclaimed with his hands in the air. “We’ll be pirates!”

They could not believe how perfect the idea was. “ARRGGGG!” The three boys growled together.

Its Halloween sweetie? I thought it was Christmas! Now I have to take all my decorations down!

As Halloween night rolled around, Michael realized something terrible. He had forgotten to ask his mom to make his costume! Halloween was ruined!

When Michael's two friends, Andrew and David, came to his door, he told them the bad news through his tears.

“I have an idea! We can share our costumes! Andrew and I can each give you parts of our costume," David suggested.
