Chapter 1

Simon, the adventurer

Here is the story of Simon, a ten-year-old adventurer, all yellow with black dots and a long tail. He loves to pull his tongue when he is happy. Simon had decided to become an adventurer because he wanted to discover the secrets of the universe and see beautiful landscapes. When he was little, his parents forbade him to go out. But since then, he has traveled a lot of planets...

One day, he arrives on Earth. It's autumn. Finding the orange, yellow, brown, red and green colors more beautiful the ones than the others, he recovers all the leaves that it finds. He makes a land art spiral. He enjoys seeing deer, dogs, foxes, kittens and pigs in the fields.

A few months later, he arrives at a school on a mountain. It's full winter. It's snowing every day. Simon has never seen a country so pretty. The children of the school are fighting snowballs. He meets the mistress. He makes new friends. He feeds the birds with seeds.

Then comes spring. The sun rises on the mountain. Simon is a little disappointed that there is no more snow because he was having fun with the kids. Yet, a new life opens to him. The buds begin to flower on weeping willows, apple trees, poplars, chestnut trees, hazelnuts ... The flowers begin to grow: forget-me-nots, strawberries, magnolias. The animals wake up from their hibernation. The birds are singing. Insects are buzzing. Simon learns to sing with his comrades. All around him is freedom. Simon and his friends take advantage of these beautiful colors to make beautiful drawings and to play into the nature. With his friends, Simon plays hide-and-seek and wolf touches to enjoy the good weather. They go to the forest to gather plants to prepare nature talks. For his 11 years, Simon's friends made him a tree house. However, they refuse to cut young trees to build it. Simon sees himself as an ambassador of nature.

However, as the snow melts, Simon realizes that this mountain is polluted with a lot of waste. Trash covers the plants. The beautiful landscape is not the same at all! For Simon, it is not possible! Fortunately, if the seasons change, the friendship remains. Something needs to be done!

Volo the blue dolphin

Simon thought to call for help!

His good friend Volo from the blue land has always rushed for help when he was asked...

So he called him...

Soon Volo and the people from the blue land arrived with their blue aeroplanes....

The blue people had a plan....

They organized crews of action...

With the moto"Earth is our home,we must protect it",they started collecting trush....and cleaning...

Volo and the dolphins cleaned the seas....

All the rubbish was collected in big black bags and taken for recycling or destruction.....

Everybody helped.....everybody took action....

.......soon the rubbish started to disappear......

The sun started smiling again...and everybody felt something changed to the better.....

Team work brought quick results....

All the rubbish was taken for recycling....

Groups of dolphins and their chief Volo,worked hard to finish the job....

Birds helped from the sky.....

They all sang "Feel the four seasons beyond the walls"......

Then they started a campaign to inform everybody about recycling and keeping the seas and the land clean...

Simon and his friends wanted to thank Volo and the blue people for their action....

They gave them a precious present,a most beautiful,magical,red shell.

It was unique and had special powers..

When they returned to the blue land,Volo placed it in the blue waters of the blue sea of the blue land.He introduce it to the other shells and left it live happily there.

.....but not long afterwards a small multicolored fish came to inform Volo that the red shell was unhappy and crying all the time...

The other sea creatures and shells did not make friends with it....

It felt lonely and unhappy.....

......you see everybody in the blue land was blue...

The red shell no matter how "special" it was ....it was "different"....."a stranger".....

Volo and the blue people had to face a new problem....

They didn't know what to do....

CHAPTER 3

Th singing competition!

The multicoloured shell was very unhappy in the blue land! Nobody talked to it!!

But Volo had an amazing idea! He knew that the multicoloured shell was very good at singing! So why not?

He organize everything, the stage, the invitations...everybody started to fell excited!

And the big day came..a special voice started to sing

VOLAREEEEE

OHHH

CANTAREEEEEE.....

It was a success!!! Every shell wanted to learn!!!

And the multicoloured shell was THE STAR!!

At last it felt HAPPY!!!!

Now it was at home!

But some troubles were coming UNFORTUNATELY!!!

SIMON was calling for help!! Why????

Chapter 4

War and Peas

After Volo recieved the call, he went straight to Earth.

Simon said he didn't have time to explain what was going on and that he has to come as soon as possible.

Finally, when Volo arrived, he was in shock. It wasn't something he would REGULARY see. It was a mess.

The whole planet was grey and black, without any lively colors.

He found Simon and asked him to explain. He never thought he'd ever hear something like that.

It was something called ''war''. His planet was always peaceful, so he promised he'll try to bring that peace to Earth. 

Two nations, watermelons and peas, were in a huge fight about which one was the best, but they just couldn't make up their minds.

Volo came up with an idea! He's going to talk to both nations and see what the problem is.

Firstly, he went to the watermelon nation. They had a peaceful argument with some actually valid points.

Then he went to the peas nation. They also had valid points.

''What do I do now?'' he thought to himself. 

He went to Simon and made a plan with him. They'll invite both leaders to the same place at the same time without even telling them. They'll also tell them it's just a meeting with VOLO, no one else.

When the day came, they met each other. At first it was a bit intense, but the tension went down.

They finally did it. They talked it out peacefully! The way it was always meant to be!

They both agreed that both vegetables are equally good and healthy for everyone!
