One day Joseph Johnson was walking to school and as he walks by the gas station parking lot, he sees teenagers smoking a USB hard drive and he was really confused but he remembered last week during 3rd period in health class his teacher Mrs Stapler was talking to them about E-cigarettes and the dangers that come with them. He remembered that she showed the class different types of vaping devices and he recalled one that looked like a hard drive named JUUL.

JUUL is a type of E-cigarette that is one of the most popular on the market. It might not look like much, but it has the potential to cause life threatening health conditions such as lung cancer and heart attack. This made Joseph concerned about the teenagers so he made the brave decision to go up and inform them about the horrible consequences that vaping can lead to. As he approached them, he heard one of them named Alec say, “can I help you?”

Joseph replied, “Yes. I hope you know that you are putting deadly chemicals such as different metals and lead right into your body. It might look like just innocent fun but when you know the long term consequences such as cancer, lung disease, and nicotine addiction. It also can harm your developing brains and cause you to have memory problems and learning issues. A lot of health problems linked to vaping are still unknown, but recent studies show that vaping addiction can lead to long term health consequences.

For example, a recent study has shown that mice exposed to E-cigarette vapor for 20 hours a day for a year almost all developed cancer. This means that humans can also develop cancer from using E-cigarettes. Not to mention, E-cigarettes have the tendency to explode while being used by people. This has caused serious burns for unlucky users that have had their vaping devices blow up on them. I don’t know about you guys, but I think I would stay away from this thing as long as it exists!”

“Wow!” replied Alec. “I had no idea vaping could lead to such horrible consequences. I always assumed that it was only flavored water vapor that we were putting in our lungs, not carcinogens. I think this will be the last time I ever vape in my life! Thank you Joseph for informing us on how deadly this hobby actually is.” “No problem. I just did not want to see you guys blow your lives away on something as pointless as vaping.”

After that, Alec and most of the other teens were able to stop vaping. They had to deal with some of the withdrawal symptoms from stopping the nicotine which included headaches, illness and intensely craving the product. But eventually, it all went away and Alec and his friends were able to move on. Joseph and Alec became good friends and even made an anti vaping organization at school in an attempt to educate people of the dangers of vaping and to get people who are vaping to stop. With the help of the two boys, their organization was very successful and they were able to save peoples lives at their school.
