Once upon a time, there was a seahorse named Sally. Sally lived under the sea and loved her underwater life. She enjoyed playing with the other sea creatures that lived in the sea village!

One Sunday afternoon, Sally was swimming along when she saw someone she had never met before. "Hello," the mermaid said. "My name is Ariel, my family and I just moved into the sand castle near Reef Ridge. Would you like to be my friend?"

"I would love to be your friend!" Sally replied. "I am going for a swim around the village if you would like to join me? I am sure my friends would love to meet you!" Ariel, unable to hide her excitement said, "That would be so much fun! Let's go!"

The 2 friends set off on their Sunday swim. Sally told Ariel all of the fun things her and her friends do for fun in the sea village. Ariel was so excited to meet the friends Sally was telling her about.

Sally first introduced Ariel to 1 of her crab friends named Cara. Cara the crab was excited to introduce a new friend to the sea village. Cara asked Sally, "Is it okay if I come with you to introduce Ariel to our other sea friends?" "Of course!" Sally replied.

The three friends, Cara, Ariel, and Sally swam to Turtle Street to introduce Ariel to their 2 sea turtle friends. Tyler and Tucker the turtles were amazed by Ariels tail. "We wish we had tails like yours!" they both said. "We must introduce you to our 3 three fish friends over in the fish colonies next!" Ariel excitedly agreed!

The 5 friends Sally, Ariel, Cara, Tyler, and Tucker made their way to visit their fish friends in the colonies. "Wow! I have never seen so many fish before!" Ariel said.

Bubbles, Fin, and Squirt were very happy to meet Ariel! They had never met a mermaid before. "You must meet our 4 friends octopus friends that live just around the coral reef!" the three little fish said. Sally replied, "What a great idea!"

The 8 friends swam along to meet the 4 octopus friends that lived on the other side of the reef. Along the way, the 7 friends told Ariel about the best places to eat, and showed her where the village park is! "I know I am going to love it here!" Ariel said.
