Unit 1: COMMUNICATION SKILLS & CUSTOMER RELATIONS

Summary: The overall summary of the pretest was very helpful for me, it allowed me to see what my be on the test for Thursday which allows me to improve on what I got wrong on the test and how to better improve these skills also I need to read carefully on question and take my time. The notes that I took for Communication Skills & Customer Reflection was more in depth on what is Communication Skills and how to pass on information that was given to me and to later pass it on to others, the last thing I learned was making sure to use a write tone of voice in a conversation.
Reflection: Out of everything I learned from this unit was how many types of communications there are and how they are used on a daily basis. Some of the Communication Skills are always used on an everyday basis such as Verbal: People communicate with each other in class or even outside of school or even regular people. To me “Verbal” is the most important out of the 4 types of communication and that it’s a way for us to ask for help or to help others in need, due to the fact you are face to face with the person and which gives you a connection with them to better understand what's happening at the moment.
Application: On a daily basis most of the Communication Skills can be used practically everyday such as “Verbal” you usually have to talk to someone in class or that friend you see which consists of talking to one another. I say “Non-Verbal” Communication Skills are rarely used, only in a quiet environment or even in a loud environment, For example: Having your headphones in mean that you want to hear music and don’t want to talk to anyone in the class/don't want to be bothered by anyone in the room or even crossing your arms and being upset from your facial expression.
Unit 2: Information Management

Summary: The overall summary of the pretest was very helpful for me, it allowed me to see what may be on the test for Thursday which allows me to improve on what I got wrong on the pretest to then due better on the test day. The notes that I took for Information Management talk a bit more about the subject and other management skills that we might have on the test. The key thing to remember is a collection, planning, organizing, coordinating, & monitoring. These are the skills that can help you improve your company and expand your horizon in the world.
Reflection: The main key for Information management is remembering the key terms collection, planning, organizing, coordinating, & monitoring. The other 5 keys to Information Management is Leadership, Operations, Processes, Data, and Technology. When taking the pretest it mostly talked about Technology, Data, and Processes, and how they were used to display the data you have and the way to save data to easily have access to. Leadership is an important part of managing information due to having the information and knowing where it's important business deals or private information. The unit for Information Management to me is a key thing to have when owning a business or working for one.
Application: For this unit, the main information that I use for my daily life is Managing Information. Such as collecting information for classrooms and taking notes for myself to study. The other information I use is Plan & Organize information my notes to better keep everything organized in a binder/folder and I have an agenda to keep myself from forgetting what's for homework. Planning is a key thing to do for a business, to know what your goals are and what you want to succeed in. Organizing to me is a neat little thing that can help you not lose important information and not having to struggle on finding it.
Unit 3: PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Summary: The overall summary of the pretest was very helpful for me, it allowed me to see what may be on the test for Thursday which allows me to improve on what I got wrong on the pretest to then due better on the test day. When going back over the pretest I can see what makes sense and see where I went wrong and why my answer choice didn’t fit well with the question and why this one is the better answer. These pre-tests help improve my grade and help's see where I went wrong on and improve my score on the real test.
Reflection: What Professional Development provides us is the formal process involving a wide variety of specialized training, formal education, or advanced professional learning which can help employees improve on their professional knowledge, competence, skill, and effectiveness. This allows people to be able to work in what they want to and understand what’s happening and helps make them move more efficiently with their work. These skills help prove them improve their social and human skills with other works, which can benefit them in the long run, such as working on a project with others, which can improve there people skills and can make friends.
Application: For this unit, the main information that I’ll have to use for my daily life is Professional Development in general, because there are some important key facts in Professional Development that can help me build and maintain morale of staff members, It will help me professionally improve with staff members, both individually and collectively, and helps attract higher quality staff to an organization. When working with others they can help you as a person and help with your human skills which is a key part when working with others, it can also cause you to get to high places which can give you opportunities.
Unit 4: Business Operations Management

Summary: An overall pretest is a helpful tool that allows me to practice the questions that are going to be on the actual test. It also allows me to review the questions I got wrong and see where I went wrong and to see why my answer choice was wrong and why this answer choice was right. The pretest allows me to prepare for the test for Thursday, which also gives me the opportunity to better review for test day to get the best grade I can get to better improve my grade and the best thing to do is a review over the notes for this unit and business basics.
Reflection: What Business Operations Management provides us is involve monitoring, evaluating, and streamlining organizational processes that allow businesses to order and increase the efficient production or delivery of goods, and services. The insight of Operation Management is the involvement of systematic direction and control of the processes that transform resources (inputs) into finished goods or services for customers or clients (outputs). The main goals of Business Operations are to maximize effectiveness and efficiency within the business and steps are to maximize productivity and quality, operate smoothly, satisfy customers, grow the business, and make money which helps make a business reach its goals.
