This book is dedicated to my late father William Albert Manley, Sr. I'm thankful for the jewels you left in me and I will always make you proud.

Lynn had a fantastic day at school.
She was excited to get home
and share the news about her
day with her mother.

As the bus drove down the street, Lynn noticed a boy crying on the side of the road.
"I wonder what's wrong with him?"
Lynn was very concerned about this young boy and wanted to help! What could she do?

"Mommy! Mommy!"
Lynn screamed out to her mother
as she ran through the door!

"Lynn, are you okay?"

"Mommy, I saw a boy on the side of the road who was crying! He didn't have shoes on his feet. I want to help him. Mommy, can I?"

"Lynn, I think that's a fantastic idea! I'm so proud of you for wanting to help someone in need. Lets go to the store and buy a few items for him."

Lynn and her mother were able to find some items to help the young boy. Lynn was so excited to meet him!
