- License plates are shaped as polar bears.
Canada is known for being big. That is why a lot of Canada is forest. Shockingly Canada is bigger than European Union. The name "Canada" comes from the native American Iroquoin word "Kanata" which means village.
The country animal is the beaver. The highest mountain is Mount Logan Yukon. Wasaga beach is one of the longest fresh water beaches in the world.


Canadian Wilderness
Canada is home to some wild places and even wilder animals. Almost 9% of CAnada is made up of lakes. Most of the animals are free to roam around and prey off other animals. Their dangerous wilderness home to the largest concentration of snakes. The scariest animal is a cool bird named the Perigrine falcon.



Here are some ways to be safe in the Wild:
1.The more preparation you get the safe you'll be.
2.Before you strap on a backpack and plunge head-first into the nearest forest.
3.Only hike to the best of your ability.
4.Always notify a wilderness expert what your plans are before you go and do it.
5.It's not safe to go off your trail unless you have a local guide.
