"Alright, kids" said Mrs. Jones, "It's time for gym class!".
'Oh no...', Anna thought to herself. Gym was her least favorite part of the day.

All the children ran down the hallway to the gym, shouting with excitement. Anna followed behind slowly, thinking of any way to get out of it.
Before she could come up with an excuse, Mr. Smith came around the corner and said, "Look alive, Anna! It's time to get strong!".

Mr. Smith said, "Today we'll be measuring everybody's strength!". From running to jumping, from crunches to push-ups, they did it all!

At the end of class, Mr. Smith showed everyone's scores on the board... and Anna was last.

When Anna got home later that day her mom asked her, "How was your day, honey?". "Not good", Anna replied.
She explained the strength competition from gym class and told her mom, "I just want to be strong but I can't even do 5 push-ups!".

Her mom replied, "What do you mean! You are strong!". Anna wasn't convinced, telling her mom, "I can't even do push-ups... How am I strong?".
Anna's mom smiled, hugged her, and said, "Sweetie, push-ups don't make you strong!"
