Mrs. D'Mello started the story and children added their own thoughts to the story. The class planned the scenarios as they went along.
The book is dedicated to all the SAK children in the 2019 - 2020 school year Plasp Program at Brookmede Public School.

Once upon a time in the middle of the forest there was a big castle.
A beautiful Princess lived in the big castle all by herself.

One warm spring day she heard a strange sound, 'tweet-tweet'.
She looked up and down, in and out and all around the castle. As she neared a tree in the garden the sound got louder, 'TWEET-TWEET'. There, under the tree she found a small bird.
The princess gently picked up the bird and took it into the castle and gave it some water.
Now the Princess and the bird lived happily in the big castle.

One sunny summer day the Princess heard a strange sound, 'meow-meow'.
She looked up and down, in and out and all around the castle. As she neared the castle door the sound got louder, 'MEOW-MEOW'. There, near the door she found a small kitten. The princess gently picked up the kitten, took it into the castle and fed it some milk.
Now, the Princess, the bird and the kitten lived happily in the big castles.
