For Finnegan O'Meara
I hope you enjoy this adventure
- Collin Bugash

Once upon a time on a snow Christmas night, Finn and his cat were playing by the tree.

He loved Christmas, and it made him look forward to the new year.

He sighed, looked out the window and wondered who he wanted to be.

He wanted to do big things, and that´s when it hit him.

"I want to be president of the united states!" he exclaimed.

And so on that night he decided he wanted to visit the white house.

"But how would i get there?"

He wondered as he laid in bed and fell asleep.

The next day, he grabbed Pepper and began on his journey.

He trekked across his town and hopped on a plane heading to the capital.

He saw beautiful landscapes and views beyond his wildest imaginations.

And marveled at how big the world really was.

At last the plane landed, and the vast city filled his view.
They got off the plane and began walking, but they ran into a problem!

Finn had no idea which way to go, and got lost among the streets.

He sat against a wall and looked at Pepper, unsure of what to do next.

“How will I get to the White House now?” he asked himself.

Just as he was about to give up, he raised his eyes and a smile spread across his face.

It was the Washington Monument!

It rose high above the buildings and reached for the clouds.
Finn leaped up in excitement and began walking towards the monument.

He made his way through masses of people, keeping the monument in sight.

Finally, he reaches an opening and is astonished by the sight.
A beautiful lake stretched out before him, leading to the massive monument.
Once the awe wore off, he began walking towards his final destination.

Arriving at the side of the White House, he soon ran into a problem.
