That's our son, Hector. As you probably guessed, he's a very reluctant reader. We're not sure what to do to help him.

Can anybody give us a hint? We care so much.

I hear them talking about me again. They're gonna try and make me read. HELP!! Somebody!! Isn't there anybody out there at all who understands my PAIN!!!

The school librarian mentioned some people who are supposed to be reading specialists. He said their ideas could help Hector a lot and that he would do some research and get back to us on it. I hope he doesn't forget.

The librarian... you mean that creepy weirdo with all the BOOKS!!!!!!!!

No, Honey, he didn't forget. He just called to suggest we start our own research with these four people: Kelly Gallagher, Penny Kittle, Pernille Ripp, and Jennifer Serravallo. I'll google them right away.

They sound like total loooooooooosers. They're probably weirder than Mr. Librarian dude.

So while the city (and Hector) sleeps, Mom and Dad google the experts, hopeful that they will provide help for their apathetic son's reading repulsion. Is there something that can be done to transform the beloved boy into an enthusiastic book worm?
