Dedicated to Our Dear Friends,                              Gary and Christie Rasche.

      This story began more than 20 years ago in Cuba. I would like for the readers to know about two lovely American people. Their names are Gary and Christie Rasche. Even though there are not enough adjectives to describe them; I want to say that they are great human beings, smart, and the best people I have ever met in my life. 

  In 2000 Gary and Christie Rasche were sailing across the world in a boat when they heard about the hurricane that devastated Cuba, so they decided to visit our island. 

  We were living in a fishing port named La Coloma in Cuba. They docked their sailboat and went to visit our small fishing port. We met there and a beautiful friendship started between us.

   When they left Cuba, we could not have any communication because there was no internet during that time in Cuba.

Fortunately, we were able to come to the United States of America in 2009 and met again with our dear friends, Gary and Christie Rasche. We could not believe it when we finally reunited with them. It was a really big surprise! Our love got deeper over the years.

We meet frequently, but especially when there is an important event such as our U.S. citizenship. They are happy for us when we are successful in this country.
