The Rule of Law

The rule of law states that everybody is EQUAL.

The rule of law says that everybody has to follow the law no matter what. It matters because no one becomes privileged or entitled.

Limited Government

Limited Government also means that everybody is equal.

This says the view in political philosophy that a government, from a starting point of having no power, is empowered and restricted by law which is written in its constitution and that everyone has to follow the law no matter what. You can't become entitled.

Popular Sovereignty

Popular sovereignty says that people have power.

Popular sovereignty says that people have the right to vote. It matters because its means that people can have a say in government decisions too.

Republicanism

Republicanism is about choosing a representative.

Republicanism means to support someone who has similar views. It matters because then my voice becomes louder and I am heard.
