WRITERS
This is the story of two uncommon young teenagers, Emma and Tony. They lived neither in the real world nor in a fantastic one. The places and the incidents were neither real nor fiction. Imagination has no limit. So, if you imagine, it is be possible.
Emma was born as the first child of medium class family. Her father was a worker and her mother was a tailor. They had a large house and a beautiful garden with green grass and different types of trees. When she was born, the Earth was greener, more beautiful and more peaceful place.

Tony was the son of their next door neighbors. He was the third child of his large family. When he was born, Emma was almost 7 months old. His father was a dustman and his mother was a housewife. They had a green garden, too. Almost every family had a green garden those years, as well. Children used to play in green areas with joy and happiness.
When Emma was 7 years old, she started primary school with her friend, Tony. They were good friends although they were almost different personalities. Emma was sensitive, emotional, ambitious and curious about art. She was keen on exploring the nature and understanding the laws of the Earth. Because Earth itself is a work of art. As regards to Tony, he was interested in science, technology and geography. He used to read books to learn how the Earth changed in time. They need each other to achieve their dreams. This feeling made them best friends. They started to explore the nature together whenever they had free time. Children were safer in the streets and parks those years unlike today.
Time passed quickly until one day, at the age of 14, they managed to run their greatest invention, time machine! First, they wanted to go to the future to see how the Earth is like in the future.
The machine was a big box where a maximum of two people could be inside. After a few tests they decided to take risks and visit their town in the year 2120. They were worried about the Climate Change and they were curious about future.
They got into the machine, selected the year and pressed the big red button.
They expect to find thing more o less the same as nowadays, in the year 2020, but they could not be more wrong.

Polluted air, garbage all around and almost no green areas in the town. An horrible scenario!!. They had to find an urgent solution. They went back to the present time ready to design a strategy......
They started to find the differences between their time and future. They were questioning "Why our time is so green and the future is dirty" and they noticed.

The difference is the people...
They were cutting the trees, pouring they garbage into the seas and oceans, the factories they built were polluting the weather. The first thing Emma and Tony must do is stopping the actions of people live in future.
To achieve this, first they had to know what to stop. So they used their time machine once again to go to the future. But this time not so far, only a few years forward. The green areas were not so much destroyed now but they were about to. People were doing everything they can to make this process faster. Literally no one was caring about throwing their trashes to the grass or anywhere but the trash bin. They could not stand it. They saw a guy in front of them who just threw his water bottle to the next doors garden and he walked away without feeling any regret.
Emma was furious about this action and she went after him to warn. Tony also came after her. She touched the man's shoulder and kindly said:
-Sir, are you aware what you just did?

However, the reaction they took was way different than they expected.
The man turned his back and answered her...
-Why should I take care where I throw the waste or why should I recycle when this planet is only a reserve planet? Haven't you found out yet? Another planet has been discovered and the moving out there has already started.
-There is still hope for our Planet, Emma says, only if we all mobilize and if we stop saying that it doesn't matter whether one of us doesn't recycle or whether he or she doesn't take proper care of the environment. As that person lives among other thousands and milliards who believe this.
Even only one person can do a good thing to help our Planet, Emma said and Tony agreed silently.
-Have you ever planted a tree?
-Have you ever recycled?
-Have you ever taken part in collecting trash events, on the beach or in a park, maybe?
Let me explain to you why recycling is so important to people:
Recycling is essential to cities around the world and to the people living in them.
Preserve natural resources for future generations. Recycling reduces the need for raw materials; it also uses less energy, therefore preserving natural resources for the future.
-Did you know that the bottle you threw away needs thousands of years to disintegrate in the Earth?
-No one knew that. I didn't know anything about the recycling.
-And you didn't care about it. Do you have any idea how much the planet is suffering now? But I repeat: there is still hope.
-Yes, I know now about the recycling, but you asked me if I had ever planted a tree. Why are the trees so important?
-Let me explain to you: planting trees and replanting
forests are important actions for cutting future emissions of greenhouse gases so we can live here healthy because the nature fights against pollution.
-How can some trees, plants and forests cope with air pollution, for example?
-Did you know that trees purify the air ?
Did you know that the greening of cities boosts property values and adds to the quality of life?
-What? The greening of cities increases the quality of life? And how's that?
-By filtering the air, reducing noise and creating beautiful places where people can live or spend leisure time.
-I see! So the planet is not entirely destroyed, we can still stay here, we don't have to move it.
-Yes, we can save the Earth from the disaster......
Emma: Well, what else can we do?
Tony: We can turn to organic agriculture and limit the use of chemical drugs.
Emma: What can this do? How organic agriculture can save the world?
Tom: It significantly reduces health problems. It protects soil and fertilizer, which is the most important source of agriculture, by reducing soil erosion in large areas.
Also organic farming is known as environmentally friendly. It protects both natural life and necessary pastures for grazing.
Organic farming also protects existing diversity and extinct seeds.
Emma: Does climate change have an impact on the soil?
Tom: Of course,Yes! Climate change often appears to be a situation occurring in the atmosphere. But,it is not.Plants absorb carbon from the atmosphere when they do photosynthesis. Carbon in the atmosphere also affects the soil. Also climate change creates pressure on the soil. higher temperatures can cause more carbon to be stored in the soil.
-So we need to give importance to agriculture and forestry to keep carbon underground. Organic farming is beneficial in reducing greenhouse gas. Because chemical fertilizers are not used.
If we use the soil correctly, it can help us reduce greenhouse gases and climate change.
The land needs friends, let's treat it friendly!
Tomorrow's nature is created from today.
Today is created from the Past....

This time Emma and Tony wanted to see what the Earth looked like in the Past. They got into the machine, selected the year 1940 and pressed the big red button.
They landed in The United States of America.
The Idaho State with the breathtaking view of the nature around.
The field of spinach!!!
They wondered who it belonged to!!!!
Suddenly, they came up with the idea
of going to a nearest farmhouse to get
the answers to their questions.
When Emma and Tony reached the house, they met a lovely Americam couple. Popeye and his wife Olive Oil had a cute baby. They were so interested in our Climate Project Journey to the Future and to the Past, Emma said. We spent the whole night talking about their spinach story. At dawn we became Great Green Action Team. We knew what to do next with our research.

As a Green Actions Team we were inspired by Popeye to write a blog about Nature. We had the privilege of recording Popeye and his wife' opinions on loving and preserving natural resources.
This is what they said :
" We are both fans of organic farming and growing spinach. There are 5 amazing benefits of eating spinach regularly".
Firstly, spinach strengthens your bones. It is a rich source of vitamin K, calcium, vitamin D, potassium, magnesium and vitamin C.

Secondly, spinach strengthens your eyesight and immune system.

Thirdly, spinach repels bacteria and viruses.

Then, spinach promotes heart health.

Finally, spinach keeps you
energized.

Healthy food is the fuel that keeps our bodies running.
It gives us the energy to be courageous to make our dreams come true.
Our dreams inspire us to live in harmony with nature.
The Earth is the one place in the entire solar system where humans can live.
Nature always finds its way....,
These were the last words Popeye said before we returned to the Present Time.
When they returned to today's history, they saw that there was a lot of air pollution in the city line. So what was the source of this?

So what was the source of this? They decided to go back into the past and find the first source of air pollution.
They chose their destination Germany in the past and their time 1954, they put the time machine in motion

Thet meet two friens there; Hansel and Gretel. Hansel and Gretel told them what had happened!!
After the war, they learned that countries made industry moves and built factories to move forward.

The polluted air from the chimneys of these factories was drying all plants such as Popeye and spinach produces by Olive Oil. It was necessary to start right from this point.

They started to work with the polluted air emitted by the factories with much less harm to the world.

They heard it was a beautiful village where a large factory was established in America and they decided to go there
There were three green ,blue and yellow painted houses on the edge of a stream and children living in these houses. These children were playing next to the stream
In the immediate vicinity of the houses, there was a factory in fairy tales with a large chimney like the wich's nose and boilling pipes like the cauldron of the evil sorcerer
From the chimney of the factory, black fumes burst into the sky and toxic wastes were thrown into the small stream with pipes
