Angie
To Angie, who always had crazy ideas

One day, the fifth grade students came to school. Their teacher, Mrs. Erma wasn't there.
"I wonder where she is." Kayla said to Emma.
"Yeah," Kayla replied, shrugging her long hair off her shoulder.
"Let's talk to principal Brown." Marcus suggested.
The other children nodded.

"Well hello, Marcus!"Principal Brown said when Marcus reached him
"What are you doing here?"
"Mrs. Erma isn't here, and it's after eight." Marcus explained.
"Oh, right..." Principal Brown said slowly with his hands behind his back.
"What is it? What is it?" Marcus asked with enthusiasm.
"Should I tell you?" the principal said.
"Yes, Yes, I won't go crazy."
"All right."
The news nearly set the fifth grade boy on fire.

"I have the name of each of your classmates in this jar," Principal Brown explained.
"And one of them will be the kid teacher?!" Marcus said, making fists.
"Yes."
With that, the principal dug into the jar.
"And the teacher is....."
Marcus dashed into the classroom.
"There's going to be a kid teacher." Marcus explained.
"Did he tell you who it was?" Evan asked.
Marcus nodded.

"It's Kayla." Marcus said.
Other kids sighed with relief. They didn't want to be a teacher.
"Me?" Cried Kayla, running up to Marcus.
Marcus nodded again, not sure what tone to say 'yes.
"Principal Brown told us not to goof off," Marcus told the class.
"Well," Sighed Kayla, "Let's start.
The kids hadn't known that there was a security camera
"Let's start on Bible." Kayla said, to her surprise, her "students" actually grabbed their Bibles. Next, Kayla wrote the verse on chalkboard. And the kids looked it up. The day ran through quickly. After Bible was math, after math was recess and so on. But at 1:34, the kids and Kayla ran into a problem. At 1:40 was Science. Everyone hated science.
Since Kayla was the teacher, she knew that she could skip science, but it was on the schedule.
Kayla took a deep breath and said, "Open your science books."
