It was Axel's first day of school. The day before, Axel was very excited to make new friends.

When he got to school he noticed something different about everyone else. Axel felt embarrassed that one of his arms was much longer than any of his classmates' arms.

Axel was nervous because he thought the other kids would not like him because of his arm.

Axel tried to not worry about it but then Finn came over. Finn did not care how others felt and was quick to make fun of Axel.

Finn said things like, "Haha you have long arms" and "High five! Oh wait, should I back up a bit?"

These comments made the other kids laugh and soon made Finn the funniest kid in the class. Other kids laughed at Axel with Finn and made more comments about his arm.

This made Axel lonely and sad. 

The day started off as the worst it could have been. Axel wanted to go home and never come back, but then the recess bell rang.

Luckily, Axel was not ready to give up yet. All of the children went outside for recess.

When they went outside, everyone went to play basketball - everyone except Axel.

The kids were having so much fun, but one little girl saw that Axel wasn't playing with them. 

This little girl decided to go and talk to Axel.

She said that her name was Minnie, and that she saw Axel sitting alone under the big tree.

Axel told her that the bully, Finn, was making fun of his longer arm. 

"Well, that's not very nice of him!" Minnie said.

So she marched over to the basketball court to talk some sense into Finn. She knew that Axel's long arm made him special. 

Just as Minnie opened her mouth, another monster threw the basketball into a big tree.

All of the monsters ran to the tree to find Axel sitting under it, all alone.
