Once upon a time, there was a very happy unicorn named Mia who lived on a magical island known as Unicorn Land.

Mia loved to explore, so one sunny afternoon, she decided to go to the island’s museum. She didn’t know if anyone was inside, so she let herself in.

Mia saw neat things all around her, but she was most excited to see the island’s magical gem. It was a very special gem because its magic made Unicorn Land’s plants grow bright and beautiful. Without it, the unicorns would be very sad.

When Mia got closer to the gem, she saw a unicorn named Rocket standing in front of it, talking to himself.

 “I will take this gem so that all of Unicorn Land will be sad forever!”

Rocket did not know that Mia had overheard his mean plan, and he did not know that Mia had followed him all the way back to his cave.

When Rocket got home, he set the gem down on a table and turned his back. Mia tiptoed inside. She was just about to reach the gem, but then she stepped on a crunchy leaf! Rocket saw Mia and they started a horn fight. They both did their best, but Mia was stronger and won! She protected the gem with her hoof and asked Rocket why he took the gem. Rocket looked sad.

 “When I was little people would bully me. It made me really sad. Since this gem is so special to others, I thought I could take it so they would be sad, too.”

Mia felt bad for Rocket. She knew that he only wanted to make the other unicorns sad because his own feelings were hurt. Mia wanted Rocket’s heart to be happy again.

“I’m sorry you were bullied, Rocket. Bullying is never okay. I’m sure that you have a good heart. So, how about we be friends if you promise to be nice? I will also introduce you to my other friends. Let’s go put the gem back before sunset.”

Rocket really liked that idea. It also made him happy that Mia believed in him and thought he had a good heart.
