This is a story about a man. A man who persevered his whole life in order to achieve the status of where he is at today.

Elon Reeve Musk is currently a technology entrepreneur and designer. He is responsible for many great technological advancements today, such as the SpaceX company and the Battery Powered Tesla mobile vehicle.

Our story starts in June 28, 1971 in a hospital in Pretoria, South Africa. Even in the beginning stages of his life, Elon was a very innovative thinker. He was constantly thinking of things to invent.

Unfortunately, around the age of 10 his parents had gotten a divorce. By this age however, Elon was focused on creating programs on the computer, and by the age of 12 sold his first 'software.' A game that he created called 'Blastar'.

When he was 17, Musk moved to Canada in order to attend University and also avoid mandatory service in the South African military. He also got a Canadian citizenship as he wanted to move to America. At age 20, Musk then moved into America. Wow, that is a lot of moving!

He graduated college and then attended it again for a bachelors degree. Around this time, the internet began it's birth.

Elon, who attended for Standford University for two days and then dropped out, now began his career in computer programming. He launched his first company at the age of 23! This company was called Zip2, which was basically an online city guide. Four short years later, the Compaq Computer Corporation bought his company for 307 million dollars!

The fact that Elon was such a hard worker is one of the reasons he is admirable. He just kept working and let nothing stop him.

Zip2 was only the beginning of Elon's business making career. He began working on another website shortly after selling Zip2, known as x.com. This was the beginning of what we know today as PayPal, which is an online financial service/payment company. A few years after the beginning of PayPal, Elon earned his first BILLION dollars as Ebay acquired PayPal for 1.5 billion in stocks! Elon owned around 11% of PayPal stocks before the acquisition.Elon is definitely no ordinary man, he is obviously very intelligent.

By now, Elon was insanely rich and successful. He had multiple successful companies and millions of dollars in his bank account. The best part about it too was that he was only around 30! Most people that age, even today, only have a net worth of around 100,000 dollars! Elon at the time had a net worth of 1.5 BILLION! However, this was not even close to the end of Elon's career. He still has a long path ahead of him filled with tunnels, electric cars, and of course, rocket ships.

At the beginning of 2002, Elon Musk had a goal in his mind. That goal was to establish life on Mars. This goal lead to a creation of a company known as SpaceX. Elon was now venturing from online companies to a company involved with Space Travel. Eventually, Even NASA gotten involved with this company, as they gave them a contract to deliver cargo up to the ISS. Elon's main goal for this company was to lower the cost of Space Travel and eventually became the goal to start commercial space flights
