That is my home on the left. You may think it's pretty delightful, but I am a scaredy cat. Well, at least I was. In this book I will- well, first let me introduce myself. I am Speedy the Cat. Now, as I was saying, in this book I will tell you how I got from being a scaredy cat to a brave cat.

It all began when a weird guy named Spikey the food truck guy came and gave his greasy and grainy foods to the people. I was so scared that I ran out of the city and to the river. There I found a content mom and 4 devilish babies.

They were very welcoming and took me into their home. But, they couldn't take care of me because they were broke and could barely take care of themselves. They had to drink water from the river, and they had no electricity or sewage. They even had to eat trash, scraps, and animals.

The family of five also faced floods and fires. Their house could barely fit the five, so I slept outside on a splintery roof. I had to catch food on my own, and I also had to catch food for the careless babies. So that got me thinking about how I could help the poverty-stricken family.

After an extensive month passed of living with the family, Spikey the food truck guy knocked on the wooden house. ( We didn't have a door so he knocked on the house.) I darted inside and acted scared. The mom walked to the door and said delicately,"How can I help you?" Spikey said with an accent,"Would you like some food?"

The mom questioned,"How much?" Spikey answered, five dollars for a burger and tuna. Of course the poverty-stricken mom said,"No." Plus tuna and a burger is disgusting, but I did get an idea.

I could give Spikey some gourmet ideas for food, work for him, make money, and change his unnatural look! So I talked with my friends, and they said it was a high-quality idea and to not get worried or afraid. I was frightened. I was frightened ever since I mentioned the grand idea.

The plan was going fabulously. My friends and I were getting ready. We were gathering animals and building big, red, wooden tractors. We were really jubilant until one stormy night...

I realized that I didn't speak human! So, I abruptly woke up my friends, and we had a lengthy talk. After 2 weeks of chattering, we found that we could write to communicate! So, here was our first letter:
Dear Spikey, If we tell you some quality ideas for gourmet food and give you a better look, will you give us a job? PLEASE?
From, Speedy and his friends.
P.S. Will you teach us human too?

His letter back had tremendous news. Here is his letter:
Dear Speedy and his friends, I would love for you to change my look and give me quality gourmet food ideas. I will offer you a job and teach you human.
From, Spikey

The first few days of getting taught human English were effective, but then some of the impatient students got angry and stormed off. Others hurled paper airplanes at Spikey, while others ripped their papers!
Speedy: english: pass tech: pass
math: pass science: pass
Greg: english: pass tech: FAIL
math: pass Science: FAIL

Only five tolerant animals, including me, didn't quit. Two of the five, not including me, failed. Basically, three passed including me. We also learned other subjects such as math, tech, and science. The progress reports of my best friend and I are shown on the left.

After Spikey taught us to speak human, we showed him some gourmet chef ideas. He loved the ideas, so he offered each of us a job. I was captain and Greg was secondary cashier. Now, you're probably wondering how we paid, fed, and housed all those hardworking animals.

At first just a few of us were working. The others were put on hold. The few of us that were employed were working to buy supplies for a gigantic factory that we would house the animals. We would also do most of our work in the factory.

Years passed and eventually all the hard work paid off. The factory was being built, animals got paid, and my caring family was able to pay taxes. They were also able to pay off a little bit of debt. Soon, we started to grow tons of crops including apples, wheat, and tomatoes.
But suddenly...

Crops stopped growing. Some of the factory machines stopped working. Animals quit either because they weren't getting paid enough or because other animals were pointing fingers at them assuming they damaged the factory!
