Mary is excited. It's her birthday today- six years old- and her father told her that she is going to have a tablet as a birthday present. " I'm so happy" she tells her dog, Rex. " We are going to watch my favorite cartoon and play games all day." " This is not right. You agreed with your parents that you are going to use the tablet only for an hour every day" Rex says. " OK, I will be careful. Don't worry. But today it's Saturday and I'm going to watch my favorite cartoon right now."-

Mary sits on the sofa and is ready to switch on her tablet. "Don't"shouts Rex. " You must tell your dad to help you because you might do something wrong and see a video that will scare you. You shouldn't watch videos on You tube without asking your parents." " All right. I will call my dad. " she replied. " Dad, can you come here ,please?"

While they were watching the cartoon, a small window appeared on the screen. "What's this? Can I click here? " she said. "No,no! You might harm your new tablet. It's a better idea to call your mum."said Rex. "All right" she agreed and called her mum." I'm proud of you, Mary" her mum said "You are a very responsible girl. You know that you shouldn't click on anything because it might be a virus or it might have inappropriate content for your age." Her mum closed the window on the screen and gave her the tablet back. Mary took it and sat on the sofa to watch the rest of the cartoon. But looking at her dog , she had an idea...

"It's a sunny day and I don't want to spend it in front of a screen. Let's go outside to play." she told Rex. " Hurray! " Rex barked . "This is the best idea you've ever had. Let's go."
