Bruce Ninja was a super ninja. He was a Black Belt and an expert at weapons like nunchucks. He watched over the people in his neighborhood.

One day, Bruce saw a group of kids picking on three friends. That made Bruce mad! He asked the friends what was happening.

Jack said, "Our friend, Kim, used to be a Black Dragon but she doesn't want to be a part of them anymore. The Dragons are a karate group who just like to fight."

Bruce Ninja offered to help train the friends so they could defend themselves against the Black Dragons.

Jack, Kim, and Jerry worked every night with Bruce Ninja and learned all they could about martial arts and self-defense.

Jack was very athletic and learned the self-defense moves quickly. He could kick really high and fast.

Kim already knew a little about martial arts from her time with the Dragons. She worked on having more self-control. She tried to live by the ninja code, "We swear by the light of the dragon's eye to be loyal and honest."

Jerry got really good with nunchucks. He could even break boards with them. He practiced so hard that he could play ping pong with his nunchucks just like Bruce Lee!
