There is a prophecy about three powerful dragon eggs (the only dragons) that will be found when the people need them most. In the past there were 3 groups: ThunderBirds of Lightning, Phoenix's of Fire, and HippoGriffs of Wind. When a child turns 10 they are put through many tests and challenges to earn their first egg. Every egg looks the same but when the person touches the egg it becomes one of the three magical birds. Three children, one from each village Thunder, Fire, and Wind, will be the ones to find the egg.

 In the Fire village, Bellatrix was so happy. Today was the day she was going to do the last challenge to get her egg. She is really hoping she gets a phoenix because everyone in her family has a phoenix as their magical bird. Bellatrix and her sister are going to fly to the contest on her sister's phoenix. When they get there Bellatrix hears the people saying the challenge is a maze that tricks your brain to seeing your worst fears. Bellatrix is so scared. There were three contestants left including Bellatrix, her best friend, and some boy from their school. When the person said start she ran as fast I could right into the maze closing her eyes hoping that she wouldn't see anything bad. When she thinks she is at the end of the maze she opens her eyes. She is not even close to the end of the maze she is right in the middle. Bellatrix sees a huge creature chasing after her. She knew it was just the maze playing tricks on her but she was still scared. While she was running she found an egg. She was confused. She took the egg and put it in her bag. She got curious and then she touched it, it turned half black and half white, the colors showing that she bonded with the creature inside the egg. But this was not normal, eggs don’t turn white and black when you touch them.

In The Thunder village Tristan is finishing the last challenge of taking the silver flag without getting electrocuted and swimming to the bottom of the lake and planting it there before anyone else could. When he is swimming up to the docks he sees something right at the corner of his eye. He swims down to get it. It’s an egg. Thinking that it probably fell in the lake by accident he picks it up and puts it in his bag but he realizes when he touched it it turned blue and white. He thought he might get in trouble for bonding with an egg without anyone knowing so he kept it a secret and did not tell anyone else about his discovery.

 In the Wind Village Avalkyra was bored of waiting for her challenge to start. The people told her she would have to dig underground and make a tunnel for her to get inside the Wind temple and she had to get there before anyone else did. When the people finally said start she started digging so fast. She was going a lot faster than anyone else. She was going faster and faster by the minute. She stopped to take a break and fell asleep. When she woke up she realized it was the next day. People were probably looking for her. She dug a tunnel into the wind temple. She was in last place. She was so angry and mad at herself for falling asleep. At night she dug another tunnel underground so she could have some peace and quiet. While she was digging her shovel hit something hard. She pulled the thing out of the ground. It was an egg. It was turning orange and white. She was surprised that she bonded with the egg. She took the egg and hid it in her bag knowing she could not let anyone know.

 Tomorrow is also the grand festival. When Avalkyra, Bellatrix, and Tristan go to the festival they immediately feel the presence of each other's dragon eggs. When Bellatrix was eating fiery cotton she saw Avalkyra and they both immediately knew that they were the ones with dragon eggs. “But I feel the presence of one more”, Bellatrix says. Then coincidentally Tristan showed up and all three of them group up and talk about how they found their mysterious dragon eggs. When the three children go on the phoenix ride they feel the presence of something bad. They quickly get off the ride and run to the private rooms. They hear shouting and screaming outside and they get very scared. All three of them look inside their bags to see their eggs shaking. They all shout and then the eggs stop shaking. A second later heads pop out of the three eggs and the baby dragons come out of their egg and dramatic things start happening. Each of them get a mark on their skin. Avalkyra gets a fire mark on her arm, Tristan gets a lightning mark on his arm, and Bellatrix gets a Yin-Yang on her arm.

The great master calls everyone into a cave for protection. The guards go out and fight Naga’s henchmen. The great master says, “I know you are out there, you are the chosen ones, you will defeat Naga. The children look at each other knowing he is talking about them. The three children stand up and tell their dragons to follow them to the front. The three elemental masters say,”Please tell me this is a joke”. Thinking there is no way the children could be the chosen ones. Then the children show him the marks on their arms. He tells the fire master, the lightning master, and the wind master (Aka the elemental masters) to take them far away and to never bring them back until they have been trained enough to defeat Naga. The children get very excited over the fact that they are going on an adventure.

 In a few weeks the children are strong enough to defeat Naga. The children and the masters find out that Naga is trying to use the stone of corona to set a huge virus to destroy the world. The stone is on top of the huge mountain of corona. The dragons have gotten a lot bigger since they were babies. So now you can ride them with ease. The kids ride their dragons to the top of Corona mountain to find henchmen with the three weapons of the dragons. The Ultimate Fire bow and Arrow for Avalkyra, The Ultimate Lightning Dagger for Tristan, and The Ultimate Yin-Yang sword for Bellatrix. The children used their dragons to defeat the henchmen and claim their weapons that run on their dragons energy. They quickly went to the top of the mountain, and you wouldn't believe what they saw. They saw Naga with the corona stone in his hand. Naga took the stone and made it into a sword. Naga uses the sword to strike at the dragons and the children, and they all turn to dust and blow away. Naga starts to regret what he did. He just killed his children when his goal was only to get their attention so he could meet his children.
