Gharial
The gharial also known as the fish-eating crocodile, is among the longest of all living crocodilians. It currently inhabits rivers in the plains of the northern part of the Indian subcontinent. The wild gharial population has declined drastically since the 1930s, and is limited to only 2% of its historical range today. Local people living near rivers attributed mystical and healing powers to the gharial, and used some of its body parts as ingredients of indigenous medicine. The gharial is olive-coloured, with adults being darker than young, which have dark brown cross bands and speckles

Okapis are eating tree leaves and buds, grasses, ferns, fruits, and fungi. They look like it must be related to zebras! But take a look at an okapi’s head, and you’ll notice a resemblance to giraffes. It is a small animall which lives in south east Asia. It is so small that it fits in your palm. Its special feature is its big eyes. It doesn’t blink or turns them around so it turns its head 180 degrees each way. It looks like a mouse or a bat. The Tarsier has a long bone which helps it to jump 40 times its body length. This bone is called Tarsal which is where the Tarsier gets its name. Today these animals are in danger because people destroy their forests and the locals of the Siau island eat them. I like this animal because it’s a little scary and a little cute.
