On Saturdays my Mum does the laundry. It was just a normal Saturday like any other until...it was discovered that there was an odd sock! It was then I decided to put on my searching hat and gloves and grab my magnifying glass in case he was hiding anywhere tricky. I am no longer Bobby I am now The Great Detective! Let the adventure begin!

I searched the house high and low, and couldn't find anything, not even one little clue. So I decided to expand the search throughout the town. As I left my house I thought Mr Door may have seen something.....

“Excuse me Mr. Door, have you seen my sock come through here?" I asked.

“No, sorry Master Great Detective, good luck finding it though,” Mr. Door said.

“Thank you anyway Mr. Door!” I yelled as I ran down the path.

Next stop my neighbours house.

It was there I spoke to Ms. Plant Pot.

“Hey Ms. Plant Pot, have you seen my sock?” I asked.

“Yes, I have, he went that way,” She pointed using her leaves.

My first real clue! I followed in the direction she pointed, and I came to my friend's house.

 I went inside and asked my friend if she had seen my sock.

“Hey Charlie have you seen my sock?” I asked,

 “Yes, I have, I have it trapped... follow me,”

There in a cat carrier was my tricky escaping sock!

“Oh, there you are, I have been looking everywhere for you” I said,

I picked up the carrier and started heading back home, but on the way I tripped and the carrier opened. He had escaped again! I got up, brushed myself off and began the search again. I was so close. This time he left sock prints to follow, they led me to Mr. Grumpy's house.
