CHAPTER 1

                             June 27th, 2020

    Dear Diary Hi! My name is Bella. This diary will show you the events that happen in my life. There are so many fun, exciting, activities coming up this week. I can't wait to share them with you!

                            June 28th, 2020

    Hello again! Today is Saturday... CRASH! Oh sorry, I forgot to wake up my owner, he fell down the stairs sleep-walking again. Anyways Jake the only boy in the family comes to my room. 

    "Hey, Bella! Ready for your bath?" Jake asked. Only if dogs could speak to humans. I wiggle my tail to show him that I do want a bath.

    Jake sets the water to warm. He puts my favorite lavender scented shampoo all over my fur. 

    He pours the warm water on me to rinse the soap off. Then he drys me with a purple towel. Aaaah, this is why Saturdays are the best. 

    Jake takes me to the dining room. I don't usually eat much, except when the baby drops food on the floor.

    I hope Jake gives me a piece of his waffle with maple syrup. He did! This is why I favor Jake, since he was a baby. I mean since I was a baby. It's a sad story. I can't talk anymore.

                     CHAPTER 2

                         June 28th, 2020

    My friend, Sally the poodle, stopped by my doghouse. She saw me. 

    "Hey, Bella! Can I come over?" 

    "Yeah. Sure. Whatever," I reply back.

   "You don't look so well, Bella." Sally said. 

    "It's none of your business!" I scream at her. Sally's face was scrunched up like she wanted to cry. "No, wait. Come back!"

    I shouted. 

    "What?" she said with her head down.

   "I'm sorry." I said. 

    "It's okay, I forgive you, Bella." she said, with a smile brighter than the sun. 

   "It's just that I have a story to tell you."

    "What is it?" Sally asked worried. 

   "Well I'm adopted," Sally looked like she saw a cat taking a bath. 

   "I know, I know," I say.

    Sally said, "Oh, that's okay. Don't tell anyone, but I'm adopted as well." 

    I was shocked that we were both adopted. Then I told her, "I think we just made a better friendship." 

    "Thanks," Sally replied.
