Fact # 1, Sleeping beauty was released in theaters in 1959 but it was advertised as being "six years in making " Thats alot of years to make one movie!

fact #2, The queen in the movie was supposed to have NO NAME!!! Can you believe that?

fact #3, This fact is so unreal but it is..... MALEFICENT IS AURORA'S MOTHER OR GOD MOTHER!!!!!! I know right?!?! but i dont know which one.

fact #4, Instead of 3 fairies, there where supposed to be 7!?!?! what would she do with that many fairies???

fact #5, did you know that sleeping beauty had to sleep for 100 years?!?!?! How old would she be then? 100 and something?

fact #6, Sleeping beauty had 2 names. Aurora and Briar Rose.

fact #7, Did you know that Maleficent was based on a medieval art? but instead of purple, it was supposed to be red. Im glad they chose purple!

fact #8, Originaly Maleficent was a fairy with antenna! And she also had a falcon as a cohort. The falcon was named Diablo. Although the raven was never officially named Diablo im the 1959 film, it has been verified by alot of the animators that they referred to the raved as Diablo.

fact #9, The movie was released multiple times. Was it that good? I think so.

fact #10, Over a million drawings were used in the movie. A million drawings. Dang.

fact #11, it took one week to make one background. Thats why it took 6 years to make the movie.

fact #12, it took 3 years to find a voice for Arora. Thats probably what they have been doing for half of the six years.
