It was the morning. Blob the cat's owners were asleep and he had snuck outside with the intention of doing one thing: hunting.

As Blob entered the yard, he looked around, searching for a target.

Apart from the grass, there was only one living thing he saw - a baby bird with a damaged wing that had fallen out of its nest overnight.

Blob had no hesitation and charged straight at the bird hoping to get an easy victory. His legs started to move, propelling eight kilos of cat towards the poor bird.

Blob thought to himself, that after he got the bird so early, he could sneak back inside and the humans would never know he was out.

But the bird evaded him, leaving him centimetres away from slamming into a wall.

Blob thought to himself "That was stupid, I hope nothing like that happens again!"

In the meantime, the baby bird had hopped off, leaving the yard and starting to cross the street.

Blob, trying to be more careful, slowly approached the street, getting ready to catch the bird. This time he allowed himself enough room to turn if the bird attempted to dodge.

Right as Blob had started off running towards the baby bird, a car rushed down the street, almost colliding with Blob.

Blob was angry now and tired of these unfortunate events.
