Dedicated to my little cousin Lilly in Pittsburgh.

Hello, My name is Flat Stanley.
I am friends with Ms. Natasha's little cousin Lilly. She lives all the way out in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and thought I could use a vacation so she sent me to Seattle Washington!
Ms. Natasha was so kind to take me on a tour - Our first stop was a Troll who lives under a bridge in Fremont - it wasn't too frightening.

After visiting the Troll, Ms. Natasha thought I might enjoy Seattle Center - she was right!
I got to jump all the way over the Space Needle and run through a beautiful fountain. Ms. Natasha said that Seattle got the Space Needle for the 1962 World's Fair.
Lilly said that she thought it always rained in Seattle, but I didn't see a drop. Ms. Natasha told me not to let that little secret out...whoops!
Seeing that it was such a lovely day, Ms. Natasha suggested that we walk from Seattle Center to Pike Market.
On our way, she stopped to give me a little history lesson. Did you know that Seattle was named after "Chief Seattle" and the Pacific North West has a rich Native American Heritage?

Our next stop was the Public Market - there was so much to see and do down there!
It was all fun and games at the Waterfront until Ms. Natasha thought I would enjoy seeing the Gum Wall. It was a little too sticky for my liking...especially after Ms. Natasha stuck ME to the wall!
Ms Natasha told me a silly fish tale I had to see to believe - she said that there are people who THROW FISH at each other!
We walked down and sure enough, flying fish!! I nicely asked Eric (a fish thrower) for a picture, he was happy enough to meet a guy from Pittsburgh, although he made a comment about our sports.
He said that he gets to meet people from all over the world in the Market. I guess everyone wants to see flying fish!
