NEW BEAM, NEW TEAM        

     On a distant plant named Zerok, far away from Earth, live five friends who are aliens.   They are: 

Zap, Flame, Star, Razor, and Gold.   They all have special powers.

     Zap is green with two tails and a purple eye.   He has electric and air powers.   Flame is shaped like 

a flame and is red.   His eye is yellow and he has fire and lava powers.   Dream is the only girl of the 

friends.   She is shaped like a star and has a tail.   She’s yellow and orange and has a yellow eye.   She 

has dream and sun powers.   Razor has a razor head. He’s popular on Zerok.   He is gray and has two 

tails.   He has razor and mineral powers.   Last but not least is Gold.   He’s gold with three tails and a 

red eye.   He’s smart and has water and magnetic powers.

     The plant Zerok is purple because it is made of bismuth and is covered in Xenon gas.   It’s about a 

foot deep.   Zerok is located in Alien Way.   It is a galaxy of dark matter.   The planet has some shiny 

gold rings around it.   The creatures there breathe CO2.

     Well, this is where the story begins...the five friends were in Zerok hanging out in a Zerok park.  

They were all talking about the battle where they fought Dark with their human friends, Jake and 

Susan Jr., who live on Earth.

     “Wasn’t that battle epic?   We defeated the strongest dragon in the galaxy and lived!”   Zap 

hollered.

     Star exclaimed, “Yeah, we all combined our powers to make a huge elemental beam.”

     “Dark is really stupid,” Razor said.

     Suddenly, the sky began to darken.   The friends were getting scared.   Then a figure appeared. The 

figure looked similar to Dark but it was smaller.   Suddenly, it spoke.

     “My father is not stupid!”   it yelled.   “I am his son, Shadow, and I’ve come to get payback on Zap."

     “Why Zap?" Gold asked.

      “Zap is the most valuable because he is strongest.   Also, when you friends fired that elemental beam 

on my dad, Zap powered it up the most,” Shadow yelled.

     Then Shadow swooped down from the sky to capture Zap.   Zap tried to run away but it was too late. He 

got snatched by Shadow.   Nevertheless, the friends wouldn’t let Shadow get away without a fight.   Razor 

sharpened his finger tips and shot out a bunch of silver razors.   Dream wound up her tail into a spiral 

and shot a powerful sun beam!   Flame aimed his head and shot out lava bullets super fast.   Gold tried to 

attract Zap with his magnetic powers.   But it was no use.   Shadow caught them off guard and they 

couldn’t defeat him.   Shadow blocked the attacks and then shot the friends with dark fire and knocked 

them out.

     The force was so strong that it shot the friends out of the atmosphere.    They were hurling toward 

Earth! 

    But, Shadow accidentally dropped something he was holding!   He saw it shoot up with the friends.

     The friends woke up and found that they hit the atmosphere of Earth.

     “Wow,” Gold said, “Earth looks cool!”

     “Except not when we are about to fall into it!” Flame yelled.

     Star said, “Look!"

     Then they noticed an alien map of Shadow’s headquarters falling with them.   Razor grabbed it   “These are 

places where Shadow could take Zap!”   Razor said.

     Meanwhile, in a friendly neighborhood on Earth, Jake and Susan Jr. were playing in the backyard of their 

new home.   Jake has black hair and likes to wear a shirt with a lightning bolt on it.   He’s smart and very social.  

Susan, his older sister, has blond hair and usually wears a hot pink shirt.   She’s caring and likes to go on 

adventures. 

     “Look at this.   I can do a cartwheel,”   Jake said.

     “Cool,” Susan Jr. said.

     Suddenly, they heard something thumping in a tree nearby.   They rushed to it and saw Flame, Gold, Star, 

and Razor.

     “Hey guys, what are you doing here?   We could’ve talked over the walkie-talkies instead of face-to-face,” 

Susan Jr. said.

     Flame, Razor, Gold, and Star told the brother and sister about Shadow and Zap.  

     “Oh no,”   Jake worried, “Could we help you guys get Zap back?”

     “First, we have to get you special powers because we will be fighting in some battles and we need you 

guys to fight,” Gold explained, “We can do it right now.”

     Susan Jr. said, “Well, what are you waiting for, let’s do it!”

     Gold said,   “Okay then, grab each other’s hands or tail everyone.”

     They all linked together and then Gold, Star, Susan Jr. and Jake started to glow.   When they were done 

Jake and Susan Jr. tested to see what powers they got. Jake got transferred water powers and Susan Jr. got 

transferred sun powers!   Jake can heat and freeze water, bend water, and shoot water with his water 

powers.   Susan Jr. can shoot sunbeams, create a mini sun, and can make light beams with her sun powers.

     “Okay, so let’s go find Shadow,” Razor said.   “By the way, turn on those holograms we gave you last time 

so your mom and dad don’t wonder where you are.”

     Susan Jr. and Jake went inside to turn on the holograms of themselves.   The holograms show a 3D image 

of Jake and Susan Jr. 

     Dream then asked, “Well, how are we going to get to the H.Q.’s?”

     “How about I use my powers to shoot fire on us, which will boost us up like what Shadow did?” Flame 

questioned. 

     Jake yelled, “Okay, let’s go!”

     Flame shot a fire beam of energy and boosted them up to Shadow’s underground H.Q. in Zerok, which 

was the first place he saw on the map.   When they arrived, Jake and Susan Jr. thought the planet looked cool.  

Gold gave Jake and Susan Jr. a CO2 converter which turns the CO2 around them into oxygen.    They landed 

in a big plain with alien creatures roaming there.

     “This is the place. I can tell by the hole here,” Gold said.   “Come on, jump in!”

     They jumped down the hole. But, when they landed they found out an alarm was set off. They triggered it!  

Suddenly, silver square robots came in and started shooting red lasers at them! 

     Razor said, "T got this."

     Razor turned his razor head on and started to deflect the shots back at the robots to destroy them.   He 

defeated them and they moved on to a ladder and climbed further down.   Next, they went into a room. When 

they got inside, they saw some white barrels with water in them.   Then, a black mercenary fighter appeared.

     “Get out of Shadow’s radioactive water testing room!” the fighter yelled.  

     Jake moved his hand around to control the water and used his water powers to create a beam of water.   He 

flung the water beam at the fighter.   Since it was radioactive, the water exploded and shot the fighter to the

     “That’s a fun way to use water!” Jake gig

     “Hey, look over here, there’s a hole which leads to the prison.” Dream shouted.   “It might be where 

Zap is, co

e on!”

     They all headed through it.   They finally found some cells, but not Zap.   After they looked, the

 square robots came in and started shooting at all of the friends again.   At the last minute, the friends saw a

 window and broke it open.   Right after, Flame boosted th

     “That was kind of scary,” Flame stated, “But, we were going to be a lot more scared I’l

l bet.

”

     Jake looked at the map and saw the next place to go which was at Shadow’s Cave of Ice.   “This wou

ld be a good place to find Zap,” Jake exc

     Then Flame boosted them to the Ice Cave.   When they got there, they walked in and saw huge ice c

rystals which glowed.   Everyone thought it looke

     “Look over here, there’s a button which says "boats" in Zerok text,” Dream exclaimed.

     She pressed the button and all of them fell into a canoe made of ice floating in water.   They started to float 

down the river of cold water.   Suddenly, some of Shadow’s fighters appeared in boats and tried to capture the 

friends.

     “We have to defeat them,” Gold explained, “Dream, Flame, Susan, and Razor you four attack them.   Jake, 

you and I will guide the canoe with our water bending powers."

     Jake and Gold bent the water with their hands and tail to make water currents so they could go through the 

turns.   Razor, Dream, Flame, and Susan Jr. shot sunbeams and razors at the fighters to defend themselves.  

The fighters shot back with laser guns as all of them twisted down the river.   The friends still fought and fought 

until the fighters got defeated.   After, the friends docked the ice boat in a big room.

     Next, the friends saw a strange bug of ice.   It looked like a beetle with claws.   Flame said, “I got this.”   He 

shot a fireball at it and melted it.   Finally, they saw Zap! 

     They walked to Zap and tried to release him.   But, it was a decoy!   There was also a little screen which had 

Shadow on it. Then he talked.

     “I tricked you!   You will have to come to my last base where darkness awaits for you! Ha ha ha ha!” Shadow 

chortled.
