An Unprecedented Day in Beseha

Beseha is a planet inhabited only by young girls, there is no man in this planet. Here, the girls prefer to live alone and single. The girls are curious and always busy researching new things. And I visited Beseha years after and heard a story about a little girl.
It was the fifth day of February; the day was the feast day that all the girls in this city have been waiting for. Some were preparing meals, some were decorating their homes and streets, and firecrackers lit up nearly the entire city in the evening. The girls love this day because the cloud that gave birth to all the girls here would come to the capital city once a year and bring baby girls every time it came.
Here, mothers would take their babies according to an ancient order, and every year about ten or fifteen baby girls would come from the cloud to the capital city of Beseha. So, all the girls, especially the future mothers, were really excited these days. They were so happy to have one of these cute babies.
The girls walked up the hill before sunrise to await the arrival of the cloud. Toward noon, the cloud had surrounded the hill. And after a while, the wind changed its direction and carried the cloud to another city, some cries were heard that everyone had been waiting for. The cloud brought 12 babies this year. Soon after, a rumour spreads that one of the babies had no arms and no one had taken her.
Rebecca suddenly said, "I want her.” She ran excitedly and after the ritual was over she went her home with her baby. She named her as Maeve and vowed to do her best for the baby.
Rebecca was a language teacher and still kept going to work every day. But Maeve would never be alone in the house, because Rebecca's cat Miro was looking after her. In Beseha, the animals were very clever and they would help the people here with all their work. Miro was able to speak three languages and make delicious meals, taking care of Maeve and playing games with her. It was a nice and quiet day; Rebecca set out to go to school.
The girls would ride bikes to go work, and all they need to ride their bike was to sing songs. Her students were waiting for her in the shade. Here, classes were held outdoors, and the schools had no buildings. As pets knew many languages, they were also a great contributor to language lessons and it was great fun for the children to learn the language. There were two students in this class who loved Rebecca: Jessica and Julia. They listened to her carefully and were so successful.
They loved spending time with her in the restaurant and theatre together after school.
So the years passed.
Maeve had turned 5. When Rebecca came home one day, she couldn't believe what she saw. Maeve had improved a bionic arm for herself, and it was almost impossible to notice it was artificial. Rebecca was quite surprised, because Maeve acted as if she didn't care at all that she didn't have arms. She had never complained about lacking of her arms.
A little later, her neighbours, Louise, also visited them and congratulated Maeve by saying, ‘I knew you could do this, you've always shown how different and vivacious you are.’ The next day, Sky joined in their joy, too. The weather was nice and the sun was shining. Rebecca decided to go on a picnic with her students, Miro and Maeve. After the meal, they played games together and laugh a lot Miro’s funny dances.
Haybe 7
They rested by the river for a while. After playing games some more time, they visited the Science Park where they could design new tools and games. After touring the park for a while, the girls decided to make a slide. Julia designed a slide that went underground. Miro and Maeve dug the pit, Jessica and Rebecca designed an escalator to get back upstairs. Maeve came up with the idea of making a different tree; she designed a tree with the end of its branches turned into a monkey.
This tree had seven branches, and each branch had different fruits. Monkey branches with their long arms gave them any fruits they wanted instantly. The girls named the tree 'Haybe 7'. Then, they left taking Haybe 7 with them. Rebecca took the kids home. Haybe 7 was so much fun; Maeve was so happy that they would live together. When they got home, they rested for a while, and Rebecca and Miro set out to do their chores.
After the housework was over, Rebecca went to her room to look after Maeve, but she wasn't in her room. Miro and Haybe 7 had not seen her. She asked the neighbours, and she also spoke to Louise.
Louise said: 'I was home all day today because I was sick, sorry I didn't see her. Louise tried to comfort her for a while. It was the first time the words of sorrow and consolation had used in the language of this city. That's why Rebecca was weak against sadness, like the whole city.
It was the first time someone was missing in the city. Rebecca asked every time hopefully whomever she saw, she gets a lot more upset every time she is met with the usual words. Haybe 7 asked the trees in the forests, Miro asked all the animals. There was no sign of Maeve. The city helped Rebecca, but they couldn't find her. The city was grieving, the children were not playing. It was the first time sadness had entered hearts on the planet where everything was in order.
There was no sign of Maeve. The city helped Rebecca, but they couldn't find her. The city was grieving, the children were not playing. For the first time on the planet where everything was in order, sadness swept through the hearts. A drop of darkness painted the entire planet black. The days passed slowly, It was February 5th again, and the people went up the hill hoping that maybe the cloud would bring Maeve back. There was no cloud or Maeve in sight. They went back their home desperately.
The next day, Haybe 7 came across a tree saying he had seen a little girl. The other trees confirmed it, and a little further away Haybe 7 found the cave where Maeve was hidden. Meanwhile, Louise was afraid the cloud, so she went to the cave that day. Lois didn't come back to the city when she realized her secret was out. Girls said she was trapped in the trunk of a tree. Louise had not taken Maeve on the day she was born and so had lost her chance to become a mother forever.
Although she always struggled, the jealousy of Maeve's superior abilities led to the first crime in Besaha.
Maeve's return was such a light of joy that sorrow was forgotten again. That moment when Rebecca hugged Maeve brought joy unprecedented in thousands of years of Beseha history. The girls feasted for days, going up the hill to summon the cloud. The cloud has come back with babies of such talent and beauty that they cannot be compared to others.
The girls were busy with learning, exploring, inventing and dreaming again for a better life.
