It was Tuesday. 

At school, the students of 4A were going to learn about First Aid.

The teacher, Encar, told her class to sit down quietly. They all sat in their seats and listened carefully. 

They were a wonderful class.

OK everyone. Today we're going to learn about first aid.

Marcos, sit down please!

'Encaaaar, last year I fell off the bed and hit my head!' said Lourdes.

'And I had a terrible tummy ache!' said Enrique.

'And I broke my arm!' said Candela S.

 'I remember!' said Encar 'Accidents happen...'

We're going to learn how to help in situations like those and when to call a doctor or an ambulance.

And with that, Encar walked to her desk to pick up some photocopies...

... and tripped on her favourite pencil, which had fallen on the floor.

Héctor tried to warn her but it was too late.

OH NOOOOOOOO!!!

Careful Encar! There's a pencil!

As she fell, Encar put out her hands to stop herself.

CRACK!!!

She fell into the glass window!
