One sunny day . . . lived a mare and her foal, windstorm. He was the most active foal the herd have ever seen.

Windspirit and his mother lagged behind the herd to walk to a field. When they got there Windspirit was so tired he layed down in a grassy spot in the meadow. When Windspirit woke up it was snowing! Star was so happy for her Windspirit. 

It was his first snow day! When Windspirit saw the snow he jumped up so fast so he could play in it.  The other colts ran and jumped in the snow. Windstorm played with them and rolled around. Star eyes got bigger as she remembered her first snow day. Star grabbed him from the other foals.

 Windspirit wanted to go back wondering what was wrong? He started to disobey and Star, his mother got very angry at him for doing such thing. She layed down in a snowy area and made Windspirit go to sleep on her.

When Star and Windstorm woke up the snow was so deep! Windstorm jumped up and started to play. Star was so happy that it has been a first good snow day for him.

Star started to play too!

           A few years later . . . Windspirit was now a yearling As the sunrises Windspirit got kicked out of the herd with his mother today.

Chapter 2

Star started to wake up.  Seeing her son worried about leaving the herd today. She tryed to comfort  him but she couldn't. After a few minutes the herd looked at them. Then the leader took off flying to chase Windspirit and Star out of the herd forever.

Then Windspirit charge at Storm, the leader and started to fight him and then a powerful blast pushing the leader against a rock wall. The leader charged right back at him and there was a stallion fight !
