Step 1

The first step of mummification is taking out the brain. To do so, They had to carve out the brain, and once it has been mashed, it would pour out of the nose.

Next is to take away the organs. This is done by cutting open the body, and taking all the organs out except the heart because the ancient Egyptians believe that the heart is what guides the body to the underworld.

Next is putting the organs inside some canopic jars. All you have to do is just take the organs and put each of them in separate jars.
