Hi, my name is Alanna (Uh-lawn-uh). Everyday on the first day of school someone does not say my name right. They always call me Elena (E-lane-uh). I hope your name does not get mispronounced or spelled wrong like mine.

Geoffery

This is my friend Geoffery. When seeing his name many people pronounce it (Geo-ferry). But it is actually pronounced (Jeff-ery). Like the name Jeffrey.

Sean

Sean is another person I know. His name is not Scene. His name is pronounced (Sh-on). I always thought that Sean was Scene since my brother's name is Shaun. But I have since learned it is (Sh-on).

Bryn

One of my closest friends is named Bryn. (Brr-in). She is on my soccer team. Most of the refs kept calling her Bryan. (Bry-an). I still don't understand why they called her Bryan!

Great story! I can definitely relate! :) My name's Alyssa and every calls me Aliza! Plus they spell it wrong too! They spell it Alisu! But, I've learned to laugh at it and make it a joke! :) Continue to write, you're wonderful at it! :)
