This part of the book is an eye opener to the fact that without ‘creative abrasion’ we won’t have a robust marketplace of ideas. The most effective people are those who can disagree constructively, not destructively. When we fight with people, it does not have to be scary or threatening. Going through difficult experiences can be the markings of the strongest, most resilient relationships.

When handled well, a conflict results in improved relationships, better work outcomes, job satisfaction and gives opportunity to learn and grow.
