The Princess!

The Princess, Charlotte, was fierce and brave and at the same time, pretty, perfect and kind. She was not afraid to face the dragon. She wanted it gone! It had been eating all of the villagers animals and burning down their houses. So she got her sword and started off towards the dragon.

The dragon saw Charlotte. He didn't try to run away. He didn't even move! He just stood there and laughed. "Silly girl! You can't defeat me!" He boomed. His voice reminded Charlotte of thunder on a stormy night. He started flaming. Before Charlotte knew it, she was surrounded by a ring of fire. But she wasn't about to give up yet. So without thinking, she ran straight through the fire. Charlotte gritted her teeth. Ouch. She thought. The dragon was shocked. Then he regained himself and did something quite unexpected.

He cried. "Nobody likes me. Everyone else has friends, but I don't!" He said tearfully. He sniffled. This time Charlotte was in shock. Then, she reached out and hugged him. "I'll be your friend, if I teach you how you are hurting my kingdom. I'll even let you live in my castle!" She said. "Thank you!" He broke out sobbing again and hugged Charlotte so hard that her eyes bulged out of her head. Once the dragon stopped crying, they headed out of the desert and towards the kingdom of Adelia. "What's your name?" Charlotte asked the dragon on the way there. "Flame. What's yours?" "My name is Charlotte. Princess Charlotte, actually."Charlotte said.
