1. Jake Rosso was her favorite singer, he died in a car accident in the year she left school, but she listened  to his pop records all the time, she had hundreds of pictures and photos of him on her bedroom wall in Hong Kong.

2. Carol´'s  father went to Australia on business, she didn't want him to go away, he was in Australia for two weeks, then on the day of his journey home, an airplane from Sidney crashed into the sea just to the south of Hong Kong. Everybody on the plane died, and he was on that plane.

3. After Carol´ s father dies she gets so depressed, she didn't  talk to anybody. She cried for weeks and weeks, she spent days alone in her room, she even stopped listening Jake Rosso's records and took his pictures off her bedroom wall. Nothing mattered any more, she felt lonely and sad and she wanted to die too.

4. While she was getting deep into depression and she started to hag out with new friends, they were different  from her other friends and her mother did't like them. These new friend took drugs and Carol Begun to take drugs too. The police came to college to arrest some of the students, they didn't arrest Carol but she had to leave the college.

5. Carol enters to a room full of posters and photos of Jake Rosso and she noticed that Mr Ross is Jake Rosso but with short hair and mustache. He tells Carol the truth about his life and how he had to change it because of a car accident.

Step 3 

In the next chapter Carol is gonna try to get over his father's death, and Carol´´ s father will be alive on an island on the south of Hong Kong. and then  shes gonna find out that her father still alive.
