Last night, while watching TV, I heard a soft knock on the back door. It was about 8:30 p.m. As I opened the door, I saw a woman covered in black and completely drenched in water. She asked for shelter.

I got to know by the tone of her voice that she was refused by all others. I couldn't refuse her and be an unfavourable boy in her eyes.

I welcomed her inside and told her to refresh herself up while I get some warm drinking water.

By the time I came back, I saw that she was the most beautiful lady I had ever met

I stammered all the while I talked.' U-uh, w-would y-you like t-to h-have a cup o-of w-warm w-water?'

She said yes and then asked me why was I stammering. I told her it was nothing and I brought the drinking water. It was almost night-time. Time for me to sleep.

I told her that her room was upstairs and she quietly went. I too went to my room and started to read a book. 

It was about midnight when I put down the book and glanced at the window

There I saw a ghost!!

It scared the living daylights out of me!!
