It was daddy and I with a baby on the way

     That started a discussion for your name

A back and fourth battle happend everyday

   Until the very last second that you came

                         The differences began

                        And it was obvious to see

                        One wanted a William

                        While the other disagreed

                        Let's call him William

                        It's a very strong name

                        As if that would persuade me

                        My mind didn't change

    But William is your name

    They shouldn't be the same

     I had no other ideas 

     Just stuck on the thought

    And kept getting questioned 

    And put on the spot

    Would I lose this battle

    And all the time that I fought

    Rejecting that name 

    I rejected it a lot
