Exposition

Jimmy Valentine was released from prison after ten months. He had been sent to prison for breaking into safes and stealing the money from inside.

Rising Action

After Jimmy was released he traveled back home and gathered his tools. He began breaking into more safes and a cop, Ben Price, set out to find and arrest Jimmy. Jimmy decided he wanted to be a better man and became Mr. Ralph Spencer. He found a girl he liked, Annabel Adams, and was set to marry her. Two weeks before his wedding he was going to give his tools to his old buddies.

Climax

Ralph, Annabel, her sister, and her nieces were visiting her father at the bank, because he was the owner of the bank. Ben Price had walked in, hoping to find Jimmy. Her father was showing off his new safe when one of Annabel's nieces crawled in the safe and closed the door. They had no way to open the safe and get her out.

Falling Action

Ralph "died" and became Jimmy Valentine again. Jimmy went to work on the safe and had Annabel's niece out in ten minutes. Ben Price watched everything that happened.

Resolution

Jimmy walked over to Ben, turning himself in. Ben responded with, “I guess you’re wrong about this, Mr. Spencer,” he said. “I don’t believe I know you, do I?” Then he walked out of the bank.
