Bella's Diaries . . . 

    Hello, dear reader, it's me, Bella. If  you read  the last  book, you will know    that    I   was   taken   by   a stranger.

    I'm in the back of his truck right now, in a plastic bag. I really need to get out of here.

Chapter One

       July 2nd, 2020

Dear Diary, hey! I'm Bella! I really need to get out of this truck.

    "You still there?" the stranger asks. All I  do  is  whimper  and  whine.  This  is  not good.  He  stopped  driving and got out. He took me out of the bag, and took me

inside his small, crooked apartment. He threw me on the floor.

    He said to me, "Don't go anywhere, old punk!" While he's gone, I decide to wander around the house. I went  to the kitchen - nothing.

    I went to the bathroom - nothing!  As  I went close to his bedroom, I heard people in there, but there was a peculiar voice.

    It  sounded  like . . . Jake! I couldn't get there.  The  door  was  locked and I didn't have  the  key.  I  go  into  the  closet  and 

there  was  a  small  doggy  flap.   I   went through and followed the path.

    It led me outside! I was very surprised to see Sally!

    "Where have you been, Bella?" she asked.

    "Oh,  it's  a  long  story,"  I  sighed.  "All I remember is that I got picked me up."

    "Wow," Sally said. "Well, I know the way back!" Sally assured.

Chapter Two

       July 3rd, 2020

    "How   do   you    know?"   I   asked   with curiosity. I was very shocked because she had come three cities away.

    "Well, I dropped pieces of kibble while I was coming. So we can follow it back!"

    "No!" I said. "I have to find my family!"

    "Okay," she said.
