These colonies consisted of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania , and Delaware!

The Middle colonies grew cash crops. This included fruits , veggies, and their abundance of grain. They produced so much grain they were called "The Breadbasket". Gritsmills were especially crucial to this region of the colonies to thrive economically. Basically the purpose of the gritsmill was to crush the grain , which produced flour and meal.Another essential was the cities that bought it's grain, such as New York and Philadelphia.








๐๐ฅ๐ข โญ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ช๐๐ฑ๐ข in these regions consisted of warm summers and cold winters.
๐๐ฅ๐ข ๐ค๐ข๐ฌ๐ค๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐ฅ๐ถ of the colonies had plush rolling hills, and scenic mountains.

There was an English Quaker named William Penn. He lived in Great Britain under the rule of King Charles. He left Britain and came to America! He colonized what is known today as The Bread Basket. Quakers are a group of Christians who believe in the daily life and worshiping god. They were known for being really accepting and diverse as well. Pennyslvania is known for it's abundance of wheat. Have you heard of Quaker Oats? An English quaker is the logo for Quaker Oats!
